131 Regiment square- Lockers in DT Vancouver
Recently I showed our listings at 508-131 Regiment square (Spectrum) to a prospective buyer and they inquired as to whether or not the suite had a storage locker. I replied "The suite has a large in suite storage locker but no separate storage in the parkade". This was apparently a big deal for him and was therefore turned away from this listing. I was baffled. I want to set the record straight for storage lockers in DT Vancouver. First-for those who currently have a storage locker outside of their current unit, when was the last time it was opened? I will agree storage is a big issue, however the cost of purchasing a separate locker with a unit usually can cost and extra 5-10K depending on size. This brings me to my next point-Cost! You are much better off renting a locker around the corner from your home than tacking on an extra couple of grand to your mortgage.
Wrapping up: If a suite has in suite storage, an additional space in the bunker of the building is a waste of your money. Lockers are an incentive for purchase, and by no means the REASON for a purchase. I think I have a better incentive-SAVE YOU 5000K ON YOUR MORTGAGE!
